One link to share across devices

An app published on iOS and Android has at least two download URLs. On a website, in a newsletter or at the start of a campaign, that means displaying several buttons and asking each visitor to choose a store.

appqr.io is a product designed, built and operated by Appik Studio to bring the destinations for the same application behind one app download link. The link detects the visitor's device and redirects them to the store configured for it.

From the campaign to the right store

The app owner enters their download URLs in a dashboard, then shares their appqr.io link across their communication channels. Routing visitors to the stores requires no SDK integration in the app.

• On iPhone or iPad, visitors reach the App Store.
• On Android, they reach Google Play or another supported store, depending on their device and the configured destinations.
• On desktop, a web destination or download page takes over.

The same URL can support an app launch, social posts, emails and campaigns. Destinations remain editable from the dashboard.

What we built

We designed the link creation flow, the redirect engine and the management dashboard. The web application uses TanStack Start, React and TypeScript; Convex provides the backend and HTTP redirects.

Analytics track clicks, devices, countries and traffic sources. They help app owners understand how visitors use the link, without treating a click as an installation.

QR codes bring the link to print

Each link can also be shared as a customizable QR code. A scan uses the same routing as a click, so a flyer, poster or event display can send iOS and Android users to their respective stores.

The QR code complements the smart link when a campaign uses physical materials.

A studio product that supports app launches

We develop and operate appqr.io, from the first link created to campaign tracking. The product extends our work on mobile applications: once an app is published, people still need a straightforward way to find and download it.
